boyfriend shorts

for the perfect summer day

Well, aside from the super cute garden collection at H&M I decided to take a look at the denim boyfriend shorts. I ended up buying a pair (two sizes smaller thanks to South Beach diet!) and I can't wait to wear them...now the weather just needs to catch up with me!

H&M garden collection

Okay, I saw this dress in red on Carmen's blog and I fell in love with it! I was walking along Diagonal today since I didn't have to go to my afternoon classes (vacation!!!!) and decided to go in and try it on! :)  Well, I couldn't decide if I liked the red or the cream version better, and there were only a few left so I bought both (Hey, they were only 40 euros each) and told myself I would decide on the color later. Since I have some important occasions coming up (weddings to go to, rehearsal dinner, etc etc) I grabbed both colors...now I'm so confused cause I tried them on and I love them both!! Opinions please!

Ignore the stupid faces...Jordi was taking pictures and didn't warn me beforehand!

drool

First, I know they are disgusting, but I absolutely love Peeps! They're the best when you open the package and just leave them for a day or two to get a little crunchy on the outside. So bad, but so good! ;)
Second, I have been drooling over this bag since I saw it in the stores at Christmas. Love the bold colors and it's the perfect size to cart around my books! I wonder if the Easter bunny has a basket for me this year? And does he deliver to Spain?

Spring is here!

This is something you are quite likely to see me in! Now that spring has sprung, hopefully no more jackets or umbrellas! Loving the stripes and the floral touch of these comfy flats :)

chic in the garden

chaos in Catalonia

Yesterday something strange happened. Well, to me it wasn't strange, but to countless Catalonians it was something they hadn't seen for 10 years. SNOW! Two whole inches shut down all the buses, many of the trains and all of the roads going in and out of Barcelona. Too bad I don't have a car here, or I would've shown them how to drive in it with one hand tied behind my back. ;) Unfortunately for me, it did not result in a snow day, although many universities shut down early in the afternoon. No such luck for dedicated English teachers like me, though.
Well, looks like I'll just have to try and survive the week as usual...until next time!
